Privacy Policy

Orbilua is a period and cycle tracker published by NNtrSoftwr, the Google Play developer. We do not receive or have access to what you log in the app.

What the app stores

Orbilua stores the information you choose to enter:

• Period dates and typical cycle and period lengths.
• Symptoms, mood, sexual activity, and contraceptive pills.
• Ovulation and pregnancy tests, pregnancy details, and perimenopause symptoms.
• Basal body temperature, weight, water, sleep, and steps.
• Notes and goals.
• Language, reminder times, and app lock settings.

Everything is kept in the app's private storage on your phone. Your logs stay there unless you choose to back them up or export them as described below.

What we don't do

The app sends none of this information to us. It has no account, analytics, advertising, or crash reporting. We do not sell or share your app data. We run no server for the app.

Purchases

Premium is sold through Google Play. The app receives purchase details from Google Play only to unlock Premium on your device. Purchase checks are not backed up.

Google handles payment data under the Google Privacy Policy. The Play Billing library may also send its own technical diagnostics to Google.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your phone as local notifications. You can manage reminder times in the app and notification permissions in Android settings.

App lock

If you set an app lock PIN, the app stores only a salted hash, never the PIN itself. This is a one-way version of the PIN used to check it when you unlock the app.

Android backup

If you turn on Android backup, your app data is included in the backup for your own Google account. On Android 9 and later, with a screen lock, the backup is end-to-end encrypted. Its key is protected by your screen lock, so neither Google nor we can read it.

Android can restore this data when you reinstall the app or set up a new phone. Android 12 and later also support direct device transfer. Purchase checks are excluded from backups and transfers. You control backup in Android settings.

Export and import

You can save a copy of your data to a file in a place you choose, such as Google Drive or your phone. You can import that file later.

The file contains your logs in readable form. Keep it private. It stays under your control, and we do not receive it. If you save it with a cloud storage service, that service handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy.

Sensitive information

Your logs may include sensitive health and sexual information. We cannot access these logs, your Android backup, or the files you export. We cannot use or disclose information we do not hold.

Deleting your data

Use More > Delete all data to erase everything the app stores on your phone. Uninstalling also removes local app data, but Android may restore a previous backup if you reinstall.

You can manage or delete backups in your Google account or Android settings. Exported files stay where you saved them until you delete them. Deleting app data or uninstalling does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

Your privacy rights

You can view and correct your entries in the app, export a copy, or delete all data. We hold no copy of your app data to search, send, correct, or erase on your behalf.

European Economic Area: GDPR

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, and receive a portable copy of personal data. You may also restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for that use. You can complain to your local data protection authority.

Brazil: LGPD

Where the LGPD applies, you may ask whether personal data is being processed, access it, and correct it. You may also request portability or the anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or unlawfully processed data. You may request deletion of data processed with consent, subject to legal exceptions.

You may ask who receives your data, learn about refusing consent and its consequences, and withdraw consent. We do not receive or share your app logs. You can use the app's controls or contact us with questions. You may also contact Brazil's ANPD. Read more about your LGPD rights.

United States: state privacy laws

Depending on your state and the law that applies, you may have rights to know about, access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of its sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, and to limit some uses of sensitive information.

We do not receive your app logs or use them for any of these purposes. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Contact us with questions or to appeal a decision about a rights request where the law provides that right. California residents can read about their CCPA rights.

Children

Orbilua is not directed to children under 13.

Google Play, backup providers, and services you choose for exported files handle information under their own policies. Send requests about data they hold directly to them.
